While the amount of fruit in it means it tastes much more of juice than beer, there is something about the combination of tropical fruits that brings a smile to your face whenever you smell it.
For this year's version, we kept the same base fruits but shifted the percentage of use to favor guava and mango over the passion fruit that was showcased in earlier versions. Banana content has been increased as well which gives a nice background sweetness and helps create a full mouthfeel.
Other changes include an English yeast strain we are trying for the first time. Compared to the strain from last time, this year's leaves more residual sugar after fermentation which really helps bring out the fruit flavors.
