Sometimes you just want something fruity and tropical, often associated with East Coast hazies, but also want the clean crisp finish of a West Coast IPA. That is the concept for this Thrilling Gaze, our latest tropical IPA.

A combination of Azacca, El Dorado, and Nectaron were used to build a base flavour featuring pineapple and broad tropical citrus. We then used both T90 and Cryo Sabro to add a coconut character and mouthfeel to the beer. The malt bill was kept simple, using only premium pilsner and a small amount of wheat, while some dextrose was added to support the ABV while keeping a crisp dry finish. This is a beer designed for the summer season, light and crisp enough to drink on the hottest of days, while still being loaded with big tropical hop flavour.
