Character:
A classic saision with a deep golden hue, the complex malt character adds a mild sweetness, balancing the fruity yeast esters, and rounding out with herbal and spice characters from the hops. The domestic raw wheat and buckwheat add a touch of softness and haze to stop it being too crisp and clean.
Naming:
The Japanese name, "ichiryu manhai" is a play on the phrase "ichiryu manbai", which essentially suggests that a single seed can eventually produce a great harvest (or, literally speaking, a single seed can become 10,000). In our case, these local grains became 10,000 glasses of beer!
