A lover of sports, Maritomi longs to be outdoors, and with friends.[Brewer's Voice]While we make a lot of IPAs, many of them Belgian, we normally try to find a balance between hop flavor, aroma, bitterness, and our house yeast. For this beer, though, we opted to go for a classic West Coast IPA, leaving the Belgian yeast to play a more supporting role. Lots of citrusy, piney, and fruity hops take center stage, with just a little malt and yeast character in the background.
