A classic double IPA with sharp citrus hops, firm bitterness and a bit of dankness to boot!
[Character]Sharp C hops form the central character in this classically inspired west coast IPA. Citrus, dankness, and bitterness, just as we used to like them![Naming]This beer doesn't belong to one of our series. It wasn't invited, and was quite the spontaneous brew. The non-arrival of a pitch of yeast meant that there was an opportunity for another arrival, and he is big, burly, and brash. Dank tones and sharper citrus notes battle it out, with bitterness and body rising up against one another to create quite the spectacle. It wasn't what the ticket said, but it is proving a very satisfying occasion nonetheless.[Brewer's Voice]There are many versions of the American IPA now, with IPA being unquestionably the most drunk craft beer style. The one that kicked it all off was the classic West Coast IPA, however. Never before had such intense citrus come from hops, and there was no shying away in terms of bitterness either. With the shift to modern juiciness, we miss the clean but impactful nature of these beers, so jumped at the chance to make one.StyleDouble IPASeriesLimitedABV7.5%IBU88Gas Volume2.4MaltPilsner, Malted Rye, Wheat, Sour Malt, Munich MaltHopColumbus, Chinook, Centennial, Cascade、CrystalOthersWhite SugarCategoryBeerJAN0.0%
