A classic German Pils with a dry yeast finish and refreshing hop bite.
[Character]A classic lager that, in addition to its classic dry yeast finish, boasts plenty of lingering hop bite.[Food Pairing]Vegetable tempura, rosemary infused roast pork, mackeral in herb and breadcrumbs[Naming]Our original release of New Frontier was a journey into new territory: lager. From there we now look to branch out into yet more untraveled paths, changing hops, malt, and yeast as we continue the journey to find the perfect lager.[Brewer's Voice]This series has been our avenue to explore the delicacy of lager brewing, and with this release we come to one of its more difficult iterations. German-style Pilsner is brewed ubiquitously throughout the world. Because of this many people have a very precise image of what this beer should taste like, even though the German Pils that is closest to them is often very different than the one brewed in a different town, region, or country.
For our iteration we looked to northern Germany and their slightly hoppier versions of the style. Flavor and aroma hops are all Tettnanger, giving the beer a classic noble hop flavor and slightly grassy, herbal nuance. Bitterness is also on the high side to encourage a nice clean, sharp finish. While Kyoto is a long way from Germany, we think you will agree this is a great easy drinking rendition of the style.StyleGerman PilsnerSeriesNew frontierABV5.0%IBU30Gas Volume2.6MaltPilsner, ChitHopPolaris, Tettnang TettnangerYeastLagerCategoryUnknownJAN4589718741031Best Before2024/08/23
