Using a strain of Kveik yeast, this is our attempt at a new style of lager
[Character]Clean, balanced, and easy drinking "new" style lager![Food Pairing]Stir-fried pork, edamame with salt and ginger, sea bass meuniere, lotus root tempura[Naming]Our original release of New Frontier was a journey into new territory: lager. From there we now look to branch out into yet more untravelled paths, changing hops, malt, and yeast as we continue the journey to find the perfect lager.[Brewer's Voice]Lagers are usually typified by longer fermentation and maturation times compared to beers made with ale yeast. Beers within our New Frontier series are usually in the tank for 50-60 days whereas ales are about half of that. Because time is money, this is one reason that many craft breweries do not produce lagers regularly, or if they do why the price point is so much higher than those made by macro breweries. This has encouraged craft brewers to think outside of the box when looking to make lagers, and one thing they have found is that certain strains of Kveik yeast can produce lager like beers in a fraction of the time. This version of New Frontier uses this Norwegian yeast to create a lager in the same time frame as a typical ale and perhaps shows us what the future of Lager beers may become!?StyleLager?!SeriesNew frontierABV5.0%IBU17.4Gas Volume2.8MaltPilsnerHopTettnangYeastKveikCategoryBeerJAN4589718740997Best Before2022/11/15
