深煎注意(Dark Impact)

An enticing combination of coffee and chocolate in a rich dessert in a glass

[Character]
With a rich and full bodied chocolate character, this beer contains both cacao and coffee to make a gorgeous dessert-like slow sipper
[Food Pairing]
Affogato with Vanilla Ice cream, Gateaux chocolate
[Naming]
While we always value a sense of balance in our beers, that doesn't necessarily mean a lack of punch. For this 13% meteor, the sweetness and dark roastiness match the weight of the alcohol in a beer that is as dark as it is impactful. Definitely one for sipping slowly.
[Brewer's Voice]
While we don't make a lot of extreme beers, this is a fun one that is not only a fan favorite but also loved by everyone at KBC.

The technique that sets this beer apart is poly-gyle, creating a rich and luscious mouthfeel. This makes the perfect backdrop for dessert-like flavors like chocolate and coffee. A touch of lactose gives a milk-like nuance and further depth to the body and sweetness.

Coffee comes once again from our friend Dai-chan at Kamogawa Cafe here in Kyoto. A true shokunin of coffee roasting, Dai-chan roasts just a kilo or two at a time, meaning he invested a lot of time in providing the large amount of coffee needed in this brew.
