春の気まぐれ 2017 (Haru no Kimagure 2017)

The focus of Haru no Kimagure (Spring on a Whim) for 2017 shifted to something a bit more "classic," the traditional American Pale Ale. We kept the malt balance and use of "C" hops common to many beers of this style (Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, CTZ) but mixed things up a bit by using C hops from two different regions of the United States.

The traditional varieties grown in the Pacific Northwest lend their typical citrusy and piney character, while the terroir from Wisconsin varieties give a highly fruity and almost tropical flavour.
