A light, refreshing, dry, and crisp saison to pair with oily foods like gyoza
[Character]Refreshing hints of lime and grape in a dry yet satisfying Saison.[Food Pairing]Lamb gyoza, spicy gyoza, meaty gyoza, coriander gyoza[Naming]The "hane" in gyoza means "wings", referring to the crispy base made from the juices that spill onto the hotplate during cooking that end up connecting the gyoza together. "Agari" means to rise, and we hope this beer is what helps your gyoza experience rise up to another level![Brewer's Voice]This is somewhat of a "revenge" beer for us. We were extended the opportunity to participate in Gyoza Fest once previously, but the Covid pandemic took that away from us. The fact that three years later we have the chance to take up the offer again means that the world has changed drastically in that time.
The concept stays the same as our original idea: southern hemisphere hops with lime and citrus character in a dry beer that balances the grease of gyoza. A classic Saison yeast strain that ferments very dry creates a citrusy background with hints of spice and pepper. To this we add the unique character of Motueka and Nelson Sauvin hops to further accentuate the yeast notes. Consider this a beer version of gyoza dipping sauce!StyleSaisonSerieslimitedABV4.5%IBU20Gas Volume2.5MaltPilsner, WheatHopMotueka, Nelson SauvinYeastSaisonCategoryUnknownJAN0.0%
