A Red IPA with a deep scarlet hue boasting plenty of fruity notes on the sweet malt base
[Character]Rich, dark fruit flavors from crystal malts combine with the fruity character of our house yeast and American hops in a balanced Red IPA.[Food Pairing]Hayashi rice, caprese, fried white fish[Naming]The kanji for "緋" (pronounced "hee") means scarlet, with the "mari" is the kanji for hop. Himari is quite the looker, and her beautiful hue of scarlet and ruby is her namesake.[Brewer's Voice]This is Himari's fourth appearance since she first appeared in 2021. We have made further changes from the previous release, aiming for a well-balanced finish, an ease of drinking, whilst offering a characterfully rich dark malt.
This time, by changing the ratio of crystal malt, we were able to make the colour a little brighter whilst retaining the rich dark fruit character we love. The slightly more approachable body allows the fruitiness of the hops to shine, and the dryness to offer sustained drinkability.
